Gold Rush Guided Walking Tour
The Gold Rush walking tour includes the famous sites and stories of Beechworths rich golden history. Tour highlights include: * The story of the world famous Rocky Mountain Tunnel that runs beneath Beechworth. * Where $7,500,000 worth of Gold was stored each fortnight before being taken to Melbourne by the Gold Escort. * The gold diggings which led to Beechworth being described as the richest alluvial goldfield in the Colony (and they didn’t get it all).

The Gold Rush guided walking tour departs at 1.00pm every day. Tours leave from, and return to the Beechworth Visitor Information Centre and are 60 minutes.
