The Old School House Gallery is housed in the beautifully restored 1863 Common School in Loch Street, one of
Beechworth's many notable historic buildings. Celebrating its 147th anniversary in 2010, the Common School No. 36, also known as the Beechworth Academy, was the town's first school. The school was restored as a gallery by local residents, Sandra and Robert Godfrey in 2003.

Barbara Lade enjoys knitting scarves with beautiful yarns - a luxury to wear.
Bindy Welsh is a local photographer who specialises in local subjects. Her portfolio includes framed photographs, cards, and dry-point etching.
Janene Delves is a well-known Beechworth artist who likes to work in acrylics. She enjoys painting flowers and trees, and making flower-brooches from fabrics.
Judy Hawking-Burnett is a well-known Beechworth artist, who draws inspiration for her paintings from the natural environment. She is also a silversmith, and is exhibiting a range of her beautiful jewellery at the Gallery.
Julie Boyse knits creative headwear, using a variety of colours and stitches.
Leisa Clarke is a glassworker who enjoys experimenting with colourful plates, bowls and jewellery. There are many beautiful gifts and artistic glassworks here to brighten your home.
Marlene Plunkett and her daughters Ellie and Kelly are Aboriginal artists who specialise in dot- and animal-paintings, depicting narratives and feelings.
North East Yarns is a group of natural fibre enthusiasts with a range of products, from cable jumpers to delicate shawls and toy bears. They also have crafting supplies such as batts, tops, yarn and dyes, for spinners, weavers, felters and knitters.
Pauline Mahood loves to knit creative items with colourful textured wools.
Penelope Shilling is a local boutique label, specialising in high-quality ladies' shirts, skirts, pants and scarves, predominantly in natural fibres.
Rhonda Shallcross is "addicted to [her] sewing machine". Her patchwork quilts, bags, scarves and smaller items are exquisitely made.
Robert Godfrey has assembled a collection of paintings by the popular local artist, the late Colin Angus. Angus lived in Eldorado
and produced hundreds of oil paintings featuring North East Victoria.
Sandra Godfrey hand-paints silk, producing a wide range of individual silk scarves. Hand-painted silk is also used to produce the colour effects in her range of individual jewellery pieces. Sandra has also assembled an interesting range of collectables, including china, silver and wooden items, metalware, buttons and old linen.
Ted Mahood is a well-known Beechworth artist, who produces beautiful paintings using a range of media, including oils, acrylic, and pastels.
Wendy Stephens is a well-known Beechworth artist, who enjoys
working with pastels, and who concentrates on scenery and still life.
A large Tea Room provides a variety of refreshments in relaxing indoor and outdoor environments.
