Eating at the Beechworth Bakery is just like heading back in time... to the good old days. Scrumptious cakes, pastries, pies, breads and rolls just like Nanna used to make. You'll be racing to get there, but in no hurry to leave.
All our pies are proudly made by our people, and individually crafted by skilled hands. The ingredients we use are simple, high quality and tasty, like the meat that comes from the butcher around the corner.
Our Beestings - large and small - are simply heaven on a plate. A sweet, melt-in-your-mouth bun lightly spread with apricot jam, filled with the creamiest custard, and topped with toffeed almonds. The only danger with our Beesting is that you might not be able to stop eating them.
And just imagine a velvety baked custard encased in luscious shortbread pastry, filled to overflowing with fresh raspberries & blueberries, and topped with a rich glaze. Sounds good, doesn't it? Introducing yet another little taste sensation: our Snickerdoodle.
We like to think our bakeries are about as close as you'll ever get to time travel, while getting the best of both worlds.
